The topoff was not very efficient (it had to go through two valves and one of them was not working properly). I rebuilt it.

Added a few more rocks to the upper right and lower left of the tank.

One more rock added to the top.

Apr. 25, 2006

Everyone seems to like it better with more rock.

Oct. 16, 2005

Most of the algae is gone from the substrate, but still there is too much on the rocks. A Yellow Tang would probably help...

Sept. 24, 2005

Algae is coming under control thanks to skimming, algae growth in the refugium, and Kionon's eating habits...

As of August 25, 2005

New live rock and a top-off system...

A guy was selling off his 70 lbs. of live rock for a dollar a pound, and the Anthelia was free.

After addition of the refugium underneath...

I was trying to generate enough critters (copepods, mostly) to ensure the system could sustain the Mandarin Dragonet.

110 Gallon Reef in its Temporary Home, still cloudy from the move...

I wish I had pictures from the move. It was no picnic. But my plan worked pretty well and there were no significant casualties.
